Summary:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of a male individual with developmental disabilities who reside in this own home with his family.
Direct Support Professionals implement all aspects of behavioral supports, medical, and individual habilitation plan.
Direct Support Professionals are required to perform all duties in accordance with the State of New Jersey regulations and ATTAIN & GAIN COUNSELING, LLC's policy and procedures.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
The DSP reports directly to the Community Base Supervisor.
2.
The DSP completes, demonstrates proficiency and maintains all required trainings (including College of Direct Support); 3.
Monitors and assists individuals with all activities of daily living including but not limited to provision of direct counseling, implementation of each individual's ADL skills, food prep, cleaning needs, assistant with personal care, medical, dietary, social, recreational, and other needs.
4.
Provides transportation if needed.
5.
Other job responsibilities such as laundry, cleaning individual bathroom, and areas individual uses daily.
