We perform strategic Information Security & Infrastructure consulting services for our Clients as well as technical design, implementation, and troubleshooting services for a variety networking, system, and security technologies.
Job Description We are looking for a full time, salaried network engineer to join our team.
The initial role for this individual will be onsite and remote design and implementation consulting services focused primarily on project implementations as well as tier 2/3 troubleshooting and support.
This individual will work with, and learn from, a team of professionals that is among the most talented and experienced in the industry.

The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, a solid understanding of LAN/WAN/Internet network design principles as well as network and security technologies.
Skills Verbal and written communication skills are essential Ability to complete Tasks and or Projects efficiently Ability to work independently as well as interactively with other team members is essential Working knowledge and experience with at least some of the following:
LAN/WAN/Internet protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, GLBP/HSRP, VRRP, SNMP, VTP, Netflow, Syslog, MPLS, DNS, etc.
Configuration and administration of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
Well versed in TCP/IP Network performance monitoring and analysis/troubleshooting Enterprise network experience Cisco Internetworking Operating System Network security investigation and analysis Packet Analysis, Firewalling, NAT concepts Linux experience a plus Responsibilities Assist with the design and implementation of LAN, WAN, and Internet architectures Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, both from scratch as well as modify configurations of existing production infrastructure Respond to tier 2/3 network operational and performance incidents Create documentation (e.
g.
layer 2/3 topology diagrams in Visio, technical design and configuration documents, etc.
) Interact directly and effectively with Clients and Vendors on conference calls, in person meetings, emails, etc.
; communication, presentable appearance and interpersonal skills are essential Position Requirements Minimum of a 5 year IT related degree and 3 years of hands on networking experience Will consider work experience in lieu of education requirements on an individual basis Hands-on technology implementation and troubleshooting experience Ability to work in a variety of environments, have excellent follow-up skills, provide detailed documentation, and be able to work effectively and independently Industry certifications preferred such as Network +, CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, NSE, etc.
Extremely Customer Service focused with the ability to make customer happy while keeping within Time, Budget within Contractual Agreements / SLAs and not sacrificing Information Security Standards either internally or at the Client level Type at least 40 words per minute.
Be able to work sitting down at a desk with a computer for long lengths of time.
Be able to work after hours or on weekends from time to time.
